Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions is the exclusive supply chain management organization for Yum! Brands, Inc. and its three restaurant systems - KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. Yum! Brands is the world’s largest restaurant company in terms of system restaurants with more than 38,000 restaurants in 110 countries and territories. Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions also manages the supply chain for A&W restaurant systems through specific purchasing agreements. With world-class buying expertise, supplier-relationship management and evolving strategic processes, Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions negotiates pricing for over 22,000 products including food, packaging and equipment items in support of multiple restaurant brands. A "unified" mission from the get-go
Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions began business on March 1, 1999. The two significant entities that merged operations to form Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions were Tricon’s (now Yum! Brands) purchasing group, called Supply Chain Management (SCM) and the purchasing team of FoodService Purchasing Co-op, Inc. (then FSPC). The unification of these two groups created a single, dedicated purchasing cooperative to serve all corporate- and franchise-owned KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants in the United States.
